Field observation
Anyone who has ever led a training session with multiple VR headsets knows that moment of solitude. Learners put on their headsets. At that precise moment, you become blind.
You don't know who is stuck in a menu, who clicked in the wrong place, or who is experiencing a technical issue. To guide your group, you have to run from one learner to another, have them remove their VR headset, or try to guess what they see. Pedagogy fades, replaced by frustration.
Our parent company, VR Academy, performs more than 200 events to virtual reality every year. We faced the exact same problem—with the same urgency, time constraints, and budget pressures.
No existing tool met our needs. Too expensive. Too complex. Too dependent on infrastructure our clients don't have.
So we built OmnicastVR to make it accessible to as many people as possible.
